We got 9 inches (23 cm, I think) of snow here yesterday and it's still snowing some, should get another inch or two by noon. That's okay, 9-10 inches of snow is an ordinary snow day in this part of the world.
You know what the forecast was? Partly cloudy, 36 degrees.
To the local grocery stores: Bite me.

Why would you apologize for what you read for pleasure? Every book read for pleasure should be celebrated. And novels that celebrate love, commitment, relationships, making relationships work -- why isn't that something to be respected? - Nora Roberts

They told us the world was coming to an end. We got some freezing rain last night and about 2" of very wet snow. It's still snowing today but we'll only get another couple of inches at most.
ReplyDeleteN of us is worse since I have one home today and his school is in a county that runs N/S whereas ours is along the Lake. I can guarantee you, they didn't get 9".
It's pretty though.
It is pretty, isn't it? The cardinals were out in it, flying around, chasing one another, and singing from the top branches of the iced-up trees. Beautiful.
